| Initial consultation: Meeting with the student and parents to introduce services offered, get a general idea of the student and parents' direction, and decide which services will best fit their needs. Post consultation meeting: Focuses on student/parent interests and concerns, academic and non-academic strengths and weaknesses, student academic records, standardized tests scores, and future plans. This meeting is the source from which the educational consultants derive the possible list of schools. HigherEd. investigates college/school course offerings and specific programs based on student learning styles. It also compiles information regarding extra-curricular activities and interests. From this research: A) a list of appropriate schools is prepared. B) a list of appropriate schools is prepared and a meeting is held to analyze the list with the student and parents. Suggestions for requesting recommendations 5.
